Biography

Born in Reading, Berkshire, 4 years later was when I started to play golf. My first set were plastic. At the age of 10 was when I really got involved with golf, my parents brought me my first real set of clubs and became a junior member of Newbury Racecourse. I had my first golf lesson at the age of 11. As a junior I was a member at Newbury & Crookham GC and Donnington Grove for 2 years.

Football and Golf were my 2 sports at a young age and I decided at 16 to give up the football to persue the golf further. Nick Mitchell gave me a part time job at Newbury Golf Centre and it was then when I decided I wanted to be a golf Professional.

I completed my GCSE's and A levels at Park House School, Newbury and at 18 I started my PGA training. The PGA training programme involves a foundation degree in professional golf studies (Golf Coaching, Sports Science, Equipment Technology, Business Management, Rules of Golf & Tournament Organisation).

On the 24th September 2009 I successfully completed my PGA training with a Merit. Therefore I am now officially a fully qualified PGA professional.

I now feel like I've done my fair share of studying and theory work, so from 2010 onwards I am going to be focussing all my time on playing and try to fulfill my dream of playing on the European Tour.
